The Nurse Liaison will provide supportive services within the nursing department. This position is to assist the nursing coordinator/branch manager with nursing visit scheduling to include: home visits, hospital teaches and/or medication hook-up/administration at local facilities. Assists pharmacy with quality checks of medications/supplies being dispensed.
Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative,you will provide the highest level of service to all customers, responding to each request in a professional manner with a helpful, and positive attitude - assuring that each customer is provided with complete and accurate information regarding insurance coverage, their financial responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
Driver / Service Technician
Drives a company vehicle to deliver medical equipment/supplies to patients/clients in their home. Maintains equipment, warehouse environment, company vehicle and complies with DOT, FDA as well as Upstate HomeCare’s Policies and Procedures.
The Respiratory Liaison serves as an extension of Upstate HomeCare’s sales force to support marketing efforts by working in collaboration with hospital case managers, discharge planners and social work staff at area hospitals. This person facilitates the coordination of post-hospitalization care.
The liaison will be primarily facility-based in an effort to develop relationships which generate referrals reflective of UHC’s mission and in line with prevailing state and federal regulations.
Infusion Intake Rep.
The Infusion Intake Representative is responsible for the processing and coordination of all new referrals with the main objective being to clear all patients prior to service in order to ensure proper payment in compliance within all legal and regulatory parameters.
This person will ensure accurate, efficient and timely processing of new referrals for Infusion and Enteral services to include, but not be limited to, obtaining all necessary supporting documentation, confirming insurance coverage, coding and pricing of products, documenting patient in applicable computer system, submitting for pre-authorization and coordinating of initial “pushing” of the referral.
Under a pharmacist’s supervision, performs designated technical and clerical tasks associated with the preparation, labeling and dispensing of medications, including sterile admixtures and prepackaged or unit dose drugs. In addition, performs designated tasks regarding pharmacy quality control, management of pharmacy records, inventory control and preparation of orders for drugs.
